Dragon Con was great as always. It seemed like I accomplished less this time, but I still had a great time. I think I treated it more like a holiday and just floated around as I wanted and didn't fear taking some downtime. I didn't even visit the gaming halls which I was a bit disappointed with, but I added watching the first hour and a half of Dragon Con Wrestling for the first time. I don't think it was for me, but 🤷‍♂️. I got to meet and get photos/autographs from a few celebrities.

The cosplay was great and a lot of people seemed happy with the Swag N Seek items I hid/handed out. I had the opportunity to give Alien facehuggers to a formally, dressed xenomorph couple and Rise & Fall of Sancturary Moon keychains to a group of acapella singers who then insisted on serenading me with the theme song 😁

I still haven't quite mastered the group up with people I meet in lines. As a solo con-goer, if I find interesting people while waiting in line I try to engage with them and get to know them a bit. Unfortunately, this always just results in "line friends" and not a recurring group up. Most people have their existing groups and that works for them. I've tried some of the other meetup groups and nothing has clicked for me... Maybe one day.

I began and ended the trip with a meal at the Varsity chili burger, chili dogs, fries and a large F.O. (Frosted Orange):
